I’m definitely feeling fatigued from all the different messaging apps I use between work, friends, and acquaintances (looking at you Facebook Messenger). Normally, I’m all for quick communication, but I realized it’s making me anxious about saying the “right” thing every time or not *really* thinking things through all the way. Then, there’s the looming FOMO. Jason Fried over at Signal v. Noise did a pretty good breakdown of the pros and cons of having all of these avenues for communication.
This GutenTag stamp made me think about time tracking in a whole new way.

I wish more product and project managers would follow these kinds of templates to show what they’ve thought throughout the whole initiative. Knowing what, why, and how really helps me understand the big picture and how the part I’m working on fits into it.
